![]() ![]() ![]() I'd really love to hear back from you about this issue or what your team thinks about it. WARN:01:30:39 : MainThread : UpdateDownloader : network error, url =, error = 99ĭ:01:30:39 : MainThread : UpdateDownloader : checking firmware multi update, url = WARN:01:30:39 : QNetworkAccessManager thread : qt.network.ssl : QSslSocket::connectToHostEncrypted: TLS initialization failed But I'd really say the problem is that ACC is using insecure HTTP URL's.Īs mentioned before, in the ACC logfiles im seeing this: D:01:30:39 : MainThread : UpdateDownloader : checking software update, url = I'm seeing the insecure HTTP calls and that the answer is a redirect (301) to the HTTPS version, but then just nothing happens. UPDATE: I let Fiddler (web debugging tool) log what is happening when I open ACC. I just can say that I have some knowledge about networking and I don't experience any problems in my home network, so it would be weird that I'm having an issue with ACC now. I'm using Windows 10 Pro version 2004 at the moment. Are you using Windows 10? Which version? Different operating systems could have different behaviour. There doesn't have to be a change made to the application on your side to not make it work.īut otherwise it is weird that you are not seeing these issues. Or maybe the SSL/TLS version the application is using has now gotten deprecated or seen as insecure by operating systems. But maybe the ACC application can't handle that redirect or doesn't allow the call to insecure HTTP. When opening the URL in a browser or in some tools like Fiddler (web debugging tool), it redirects to the HTTPS version. I think using HTTP URL's nowadays is never a good method. I'd be very interested in what your team or developers think about that. I'd really like you passing my notes to your team. I'm tagging u/ASTRO_Vertigo here as well. Maybe this could be a problem!? Maybe it doesn't allow to download the firmware from insecure HTTP and because of that it can't update? The URLs in the Logfile and the one in the mimas_a50.xml file seem to be insecure HTTP and not HTTPS, at least sometimes. MainThread : UpdateDownloader : network error, url =, error = 99ĭ:00:07:53 : MainThread : UpdateDownloader : checking firmware multi update, url = Īlthough the mimas_a50.xml file is showing the right and new firmware, it doesn't do anything: Īlso, I've noticed that it is saying in the Logfile at some point that it couldn't initialize a TLS connection (TLS initialization failed). WARN:00:07:53 : QNetworkAccessManager thread : qt.network.ssl : QSslSocket::connectToHostEncrypted: TLS initialization failed Most of them seem to be unrelated to my problem, but it also says: D:00:07:53 : MainThread : UpdateDownloader : checking software update, url = The Logfiles show a whole lot of WARN messages. It has a Logfile for every execution of ACC. I'm still not getting the new update.īut I found a folder called "Logs" under C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Astro Gaming\ASTRO Command Center Thank you, I just did exactly these steps, but it didn't help.
